Which LEGO® colours do you find most often in a bulk bag?

Everyone has an intuition about which colours are in a bulk bag. But what are the actual percentages? We broke down 200 random bags by colour.

The top 10 colours

1. White — 18% 2. Light Bluish Grey — 15% 3. Black — 12% 4. Red — 9% 5. Yellow — 8% 6. Dark Bluish Grey — 7% 7. Blue — 6% 8. Trans-Clear — 5% 9. Orange — 4% 10. Green — 4%

The remaining 12% spread across all other colours — brown, beige, purple, pink, neon and rare shades.

Why are white and grey so dominant?

LEGO® uses these colours as a structural foundation in most sets: buildings, floors, vehicle chassis. Our source contains many architecture and City sets, which is why these colours are overrepresented.

Who is this useful for?

MOC builders who frequently need structural base elements (buildings, vehicles) will do well with our bags. Looking for a specific bright pink castle? Our bulk mix is less suitable — those colours are scarce.

Tip

Want a bag with more coloured bricks? Email us — we sometimes have intentionally sorted mixed bags that are more colourful than average.
